Hello Dreamwidth. I kept seeing you on my flist but never felt the urge to join myself, until arrch offered me a code. Thanks Arrch!

Now, what to do with this...? Arrch suggested using it to back up my LJ, but I don't really see the purpose of that. Plus, that's boring. Haha.

Maybe I should use it as a log of the little things that make me happy each day. I could probably use something like that. I could also use it as a more private journal - I know I can make private entries on LJ, but here, very little of you will even read my non-private posts, especially as the DW fever dies down. I also associate LJ too much with the desire for feedback; that won't be the case here. Maybe I could use a private outlet, too.

More than likely, I'll never look at this account again. But we'll see. haha

Personally, I feel that Dreamwidth has maintained an interest in its users that indicates a desire to be sustainable and active. Which I like, so I'm active.

Also, LJ layouts work on Dreamwidth? Awesome. Did you just C&P the CSS directly?

That's cool! I still don't know personally, though. I'm really attached to LJ for DW to be anything other than my fling on the side, as awesome as it is, lol.

I had used this tutorial last night, but apparently free users can't do it anymore...? I chose the right time to do it, I guess. xD

Well, DW lets you crosspost your entries into your LJ, which is pretty much the deciding factor for me using this primarily, since it means I don't even have to leave LJ in the first place. :P

I kind of like this one better than LJ. Too bad there's no way to magically import everyone from LJ to DW. ^^;
