I'm done with my applications to CSU Long Beach and UC Santa Cruz. :) I've submitted them both, so yay! Just have to wait now. lol. Though I still have another application to work on - the one to study abroad in Aix-en-Provence next year. I'm going to have a haaard decision to make if I get into that program too... xD;

little_ribbon's been bugging me about it FOREVER, so I had to do it soon! Haha.
STEP ONE
Make a post (public, friends-locked, filtered...whatever you're comfortable with) to your LJ. The post should contain your list of ten holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fandom-related ("I'd love a ______ icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("all I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV."). The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.
If you wish for real life things (not fics or icons), make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you.
Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your LJ or link to this post so that the holiday joy will spread.
STEP TWO
Surf around your friends list (or friends' friends, or just random journals) to see who has posted their list. And now, here's the important part:
If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use -- do it.
You need not spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf -- to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not -- it's your call.
There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Give, and you might receive. and you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.

Material Goods - most of these I would never expect you guys to ever give, haha
01. Anything on my Amazon.com wishlist. Preferably the things with a higher priority.
02. Any travel guides/books/materials/etc. on the following countries: Spain, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Chile, Singapore and Hong Kong. ...What? I want to go to a lot of places. xD;;
03. A pay-as-you-go cell phone! I haven't decided which company I wanted to go with yet, but it should have reasonable prices for domestic AND international calls, text messaging and mobile IM.
04. An R4 DS or M3 DS Real so I can download and play old school games on my DS. :)
05. Boots! Especially long black ones, though I'd prefer flat ones - not that I stumble over myself wearing heels, I'm just already tall enough! Haha. I've a hard size to find though - 11W. Ugh. :(
06. A coat! Particularly a peacoat, because those are amazing. I'm a big girl, so I'd need one in an XL or so... and please, in good colors that can match with most things. xD
07. I love stuffed animals and beanie babies. :) As long as it's cute, I will love it. I'm pretty fond of the Ty company. And I'm currently spazzing over the Rudolph and Clarice plushies. xD
08. Jewelry! In particular, earrings - I don't have a lot and I'd like to have more. I don't tend to wear necklaces often, but I'm open to having those as well. I like wearing cool tones, so think silver, white, black and all the "cool" colors. xD I can make exceptions though, if they're like... handcuff earrings, or ridiculously cute (like at theku_ki_shop). And I still want these like whoa even though they're ridiculously expensive, haha.
09. Non-English language stuff. :) Somewhat sophisticated, but not super complex, reading material in French, and fun, cute children's books in Spanish. Also, anything about Singlish would be cool - and yes, I know it's officially English, though it's more of a creole language now. xD
10. If all else fails, I love gift certificates! :D Target would be the best because I seriously get everything from there, lol. But Amazon.com, Barnes and Noble and Torrid are good too.
Stuff That Costs Little to Nothing
01. Fic! Fic would be so amazing. :D Things in particular that I'd love are Heroes fic (with Sylar/Mohinder being the most wanted, though I also crave Hiro/Kensei like whoa), Doctor Who fic (with Doctor/Jack or Doctor/Jack/Rose), Phoenix Wright fic (Phoenix/Edgeworth, Phoenix/Godot or Diego/Mia), Pokémon fic (anything with RILEY omg or Gary/Ash), Chuck fic (Chuck/Bryce!), House fic (House/Chase), Tales of the Abyss (Guy/Luke or Jade/Luke) or Kingdom Hearts (anything GOOD... I've seen too much crap lately)
02. Along the same lines, I'd love some art! Fanart wise, just follow the pairings (and the characters IN those pairings) that I listed above. And I'd pretty much worship you for the rest of my life if you did any based of my fic atrienestsacre. But it doesn't have to be fanart - any pretty or cute original art is totally great too, though in this case I'd prefer women or animals. (...sorry men? haha).
03. Icons would be great too. :) Particularly in the above fandoms. Though I am DYING for good icons of Riley and Godot. xD But they don't even have to be fandom - I like stuff with pretty stock photos, or pretty celebs/models, or just humorous and cracky stuff.
04. Music recs! You really like a song or an artist? Share with me. :) Especially if you have mp3s or wmas or m4as, but just linking to Youtube or just NAMING it is fine too. I'm open to most music, in any language, except for screaming rock/death metal and rap.
05. TV show/movie recs. :) Bonus points if you provide links to them on Youtube, or even to download. I like pretty much all genres, so no worries there. But if there's homoerotic subtext (or text!) that's even better! haha. (AND YES LIN I WILL GET TO DOWNLOADING JUSTICE SO YOU DON'T HAVE TO SAY ANYTHING LOL)
06. Cards or letters! I looove getting stuff in the mail. :D I don't even care what you talk about, haha. If you've done a card post and I didn't reply, link it here!

01. That I can be forgiven for the horrible things I've done, and that in time I can forgive myself.
02. That the girl I like and want most returns my feelings.
03. That if she doesn't, then I can move on fairly quickly and meet someone who can.
04. That my financial aid packages for CSULB and UCSC are good, and that my choice won't be dictated by money alone.
05. That I will be able to study abroad and/or work abroad, because I need it.
06. That I will be able to meet some of my online friends in person. If I go to UCSC then I can do Yaoicon '08 guys~ 8D Or I can do AX '08 while I'm still down here, whatever's more popular. xD
07. Paradoxically, that I will either lose a lot of weight, or that I will accept myself for who I am now xD
08. That I will be able to find a good, decent paying job for the rest of the school year.
09. That one day, that I will be able to completely love myself, period.
